Over New Years, we headed to Wales, as stretch our legs and walk up in the snowy mountains. Here’s a few photos that I took from the tops of Y Glyderau, the first from Castell y Gwynt, looking towards Glyder Fawr, the second from our ascent – looking over towards the epic Snowdon Horseshoe, and the last as we were heading down Bwlch Dwyglydion, with Llyn Cwmffynon at the bottom. Fantastic day out in the snowy Welsh mountains.
Photography
I’m slowly in the process of re-vamping a lot of my website, especially how the photography section works. I’ve decided to use a pretty great Flickr Plug-in for my gallery, which does a great job at displaying my images.
Use the drop-down menu under the Photography tab at the top of the page to view my photos.
Here’s a couple of new Panorama images I’ve just stitched together today. The first is from Cors y Fron, located just outside the Snowdonia National Park, on the way out of Y Fron towards Llyn Ffynhonnau and Mynydd Mawr. The wee ruin is by far, located in one of the most beautiful spots in North Wales, overlooking nothing but the magnificent Nantlle Ridge. The second is a first try at a night panorama, taken ontop of Moel Eilio, on a Winters night, looking towards Y Glyderau and Snowdon. Snowdon is just under the moon.
Y Glyderau – Photostich
Hello.
About a year ago – I took this photograph looking over towards Y Glyderau mountain range from Pen yr Ola Wen. Today, I finally managed to finish stitching it together, and here it is for all to enjoy;
You can see all the Glyderau Massif on this, everything from Glyder Fach right through to Elidir Fawr in the distance, screen right. Tryfan is the lump of rock on the left of the photo. Good times!
